Princess Andromeda (Greek myth) is traditionally the princess waiting around to be rescued from a monster by a hero. Much as George rescues the Princess from a Dragon, Andromeda is saved from a Sea Monster by Perseus. The story is always retold from the hero's perspective, so in this drawing I wanted to imagine it from the viewpoints that are forgotten. Here the space is an underwater cavern. I wanted to depict the time before the hero arrives, where Andromeda and her Dragon (Sea Monster) wait for the action to begin. What would they have thought or discussed in the unknown time between inaction and action?
