A SOLIHULL artist’s painting of a ‘bionic’ tattoo artists is set to go on display in London.
Charlie Kirkham’s So Far I’ve Died Twice will be on show at The Discerning Eye 2026, Mall Galleries, from November 13 to 21.
The portrait is of Amie Leonhardt aka Bionic Tatter, a tattoo artist working in Devon.
She survived two sudden cardiac arrests in her early twenties. Now a device under her skin guards her heart she calls herself bionic.
The portrait was selected by Martin Robinson, culture writer at The London Standard. Just over 750 artworks by more than 550 artists are on show.
Kirkham surrounded Amie with autumn leaves and medlar fruit.
